I was contracted as a instructional developer and designer for the organization NNSTOY to collaborate with a team to develop 3 full courses, consisting of 14 lessons each. The course feature a variety of in-person, online synchronous and online asynchronous lessons. Moodle was identified by the company as the LMS & Google Slides as the mode of delivery.

   Instructional: Asynchronous

Journey to America University Course

I developed and designed an asynchronous credited course for North Dakota State University called Journey to America. With feedback from stakeholders, I sought to create a relevant, economical and flexible course for educators. The course uses Google Classroom as the LMS and features 3 learning modules. Modules include discussion boards, reflection essays, article responses, action plans and learning activities designed with Articulate Rise 360.

I worked with Kern County stakeholders to develop a plan for the professional development training. I also created a resource document for clients to follow for synchronous training. Using principals of of adult learning theory and my K12 expertise, I created this slide deck on Google Slides and implemented the synchronous training in the summer 2022.
